Cancellation & No Show Policy

A valid credit card is required by The Mermaid Resort to guarantee a reservation.

This guarantee may be made by sending the The Mermaid Resort a credit card guarantee by fax. For your convenience, you will be getting a fax form on the mail when you make a room reservation for entering your credit card.

Credit cards details held by The Mermaid Resort will only be debited should one or more of the following conditions occur.

Peak Season (16 Dec to 15th Jan)

  • Full amount of room charge required as a deposit
  • Full amount of room charge returned if cancellation confirmed more than 30 days in advance of reservation.
  • 50% refund of room charge returned if cancellation 7 up to 30 days in advance of reservation.
  • No refund of room charge when cancellation less than 7 days from reservation.
  • No show: Full amount of reservation will be charged.

High Season (1 Nov to 15th Dec & 16 Jan to 30th Apr)

  • 1 night of room charge required as a deposit.
  • 1 night of room charge returned if cancellation confirmed more than
    30 days in advance of reservation.
  • No refund of 1 night of room charge when cancellation 30 days or less
  • No show: 1 night charge

All other Time:

  • 1 night of room charge required as a deposit.
  • Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival no charge
  • Cancellation 7 days or less prior to arrival 1 night charge
  • No shows: 1 night charge

Cancellations must be made in writing either by fax to 66-76-345251 or
e-mail at booking@mermaid-resort.com  Please note that your cancellation has been accepted only when you receive a cancellation number.
